7DailyMoves is a mobile app that works as a personal trainer for daily workout. As an exercise app, it allows people to try out different exercises, keep track of them and motivates them to stay fit. Here’s how SoluteLabs helped 7DailyMoves realise its vision as a fitness product/start-up.

The story behind
Ms Sonam Mehra, the co-founder at 7 Daily Moves, is a fitness coach who has been working with individuals with health issues, teenagers, individuals who hate exercising, etc. for over ten years. She found out, most people hit the gym and spend hours doing ineffective workouts. Over the course of time, gymming equals socializing or doing what they are comfortable with. To keep them bound to daily workouts, something that could give instruction, variety, and goals, and could be used even while travelling, was needed. This also meant building something rewarding enough, specifically for people who don’t like to exercise.

People often feel a disconnect with and feel that bodies of people shown in exercising videos are simply impossible to achieve.
How SoluteLabs Helped
Brainstorming
Our team was involved right from the brainstorming to getting the app live on Google Play Store and iTunes. Since there were already many fitness mobile apps out there, the biggest challenge was to make sure the app was engaging and clearly stood out.
Gamification
To boost early adoption, one of the strategies we thought
was gamification.
This would keep the users engaged and ultimately lead
to favourable word-of-mouth. This involved having an
appealing, light-hearted, animated character which
makes users feel they can do workouts too.
We also did some motion designs to ensure the app went
viral. We made sure that the workouts listed in the app
were protected from IP infringement.

As humans, we are designed to do seven moves, namely - Squat, Push, Pull, Lunge, Bend, Twist, & Walk/Run/Jump. Any workout must include these 7 moves without which it is incomplete. 7DailyMoves offers the following SEVEN KEY FEATURES in its app -
